Cores
OMNI ADRD is organized into four Cores that carry out the primary activities of the network. Each Core has its own defined responsibilities. Collectively, they operate as an integrated system with coordinated workflows aligned to OMNI ADRDʼs iterative development cycle.
What Are Working Groups?
OMNI ADRD Working Groups are focused teams of investigators who collaborate to address key scientific and implementation challenges in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) prevention research.
Each Working Group brings together expertise across disciplines and institutions to develop practical tools, guidance, and resources that support the design, evaluation, and use of cognitive and behavioral measures. Working Groups are organized around core areas of OMNI ADRD, including data, measurement, applied validity, and implementation.
How Working Groups Contribute
Working Groups play a central role in advancing OMNI ADRD’s mission. They:
- Identify high-priority challenges in measurement, data integration, and implementation
- Evaluate existing methods and evidence across OMNI ADRD datasets and the broader field
- Develop shared resources, including analytic tools, catalogs, and best-practice guidance
- Inform OMNI ADRD-wide standards, including evaluation frameworks and implementation strategies
Their outputs are designed to be directly useful to investigators working in prevention science, clinical trials, and longitudinal cohort studies.
